ABOUT US

Abundant Power is a financial services company focused on designing and delivering energy efficiency (“EE”) solutions and programs. Abundant is managed by an experienced executive team that brings a unique blend of deep expertise in financial services, building science, real estate and technology to each of our products and programs. We offer an innovative, no-cost service allowing building owners to transform their existing utility bill into a dividend-paying vehicle for financing a healthy, high performance property through energy savings metrics.

The nation’s leading EE underwriter, Abundant also originates loans and administers utility and state sponsored EE loan programs, on-bill financing programs, Green Building programs and PACE (property assessed clean energy) districts. Our mission is to expand EE in the built environment through the innovation and excellent delivery of transformative financial products that utilize technology and social networking to motivate building owners and occupants to make lasting changes in their energy consumption. We believe energy efficiency finance solutions are critical, as they can help drive our nation’s economic competitiveness, national security and preservation of natural resources.

Abundant Power was founded in 2009 on the basis that new ideas and solutions were needed to bring private capital into the clean energy economy. While government support of clean energy is necessary, as it was for oil, gas and nuclear at their infancies, only when private capital perceives opportunity, markets and products will clean energy become truly sustainable. Furthermore, regardless of the best structure and way to resolve concerns about climate change, many, if not most goals and concerns, will be addressed by robust private market responses to environmental challenges. We also believe that market sectors thrive when the commercial voice is heard loudly in the public square. As such, the Abundant Power team is committed to active engagement in the ongoing discussion about our nation's energy policy.

MISSION

Our mission is to expand energy efficiency in the built environment through innovation and excellent delivery of transformative financial and technology solutions that motivate building owners and occupants to make lasting change in energy consumption.
